MDX is an emergency-department documentation tool I am building for my own use.
It drafts the medical decision-making (MDM) section of an ED note, along with matching patient instructions, in my own documentation voice. I review and edit every draft, and anything the chart does not clearly support is flagged for me to confirm before the text can be copied out.
Today MDX is a single-user, password-protected tool that I use on shift. It is still in development: it has no outside users or customers, and it is not currently offered to other clinicians.
Documentation, drafted for the physician to review.
Physician built
Made by a practicing emergency physician around his own documentation.
Physician in the loop
Every draft is reviewed and edited by the physician; nothing is filed automatically.
Flagged for confirmation
Statements the chart does not support are marked so they can be confirmed or removed.
